Fourteen years ago, two Vincent van Gogh paintings were stolen and now they are going back to public display at the Van Gogh Museum. This wonderful excursion was organized to celebrate the happy event. You have an amazing opportunity to go on a journey through Vincent’s life walking in his footsteps in Nuenen and visiting the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

Nuenen: Van Gogh Village
Take a look into the life and work of Vincent van Gogh and visit a range of locations in Nuenen that inspired the artist, including the reformed church featured in his painting. Vincent has created some of his greatest masterpieces here (more than 500 paintings and drawings within a period of just two years, including The Potato Eaters). Visit the Vincentre Museum, explore some of  the 23 ‘Van Gogh locations’ by bike or on foot and enjoy the renowned Brabant hospitality at the numerous shops and cafes. After exploring Vincent’s homeland, you will return to Amsterdam to view the recovered paintings and his other fascinating works at the Van Gogh Museum.
